Do fitness apps help you lose weight?
Fitness apps on their own do not make you lose weight but they definitely can help! Fitness apps help give you a routine, provide direction, and can also be a great way to stay consistent.
Best Workout Apps for Weight Loss:
- CrossRope Jump rope. This app is free and has a premium version with more features. I love how portable it is and how easy it is to do cardio anywhere with any jumprope! Although this app can be used with any jumprope it works best with the Cross Rope jumprope. You can use code 20FANCY for 20% of sitewide!
- Adidas Training by Runtastic App: adidas has several apps to help you keep your fitness on the go but my favorite is the adidas Training by Runtastic App. In addition to the app, there is a great website with lots of resources and articles. The app also includes fun challenges to help you reach your fitness goals faster!
- Tone it Up Fitness App: This is the first workout app I tried and actually stuck with. TIU app has a free version and a membership version. Both include the “Daily Toning Moves” on demand. I love doing the daily workout whenever I’m in the gym and can’t think of what to do. This app is also great for when you are traveling and need a quick workout. The app changes somewhat frequently so double check on the current free offerings.
What is the #1 weight loss app?
Peloton App: The Peloton app is a digital multi workout hub. It provides on-demand and live virtual classes for spin, strength, yoga, and much more. This is my #1 app for weight loss because of the versatility, unfortuantely this app is not free but does offer a free trial.
If you’re interested in trying it out, be sure to read my Peloton workouts 30 minutes or less round-up. If you are completely new to Peloton, I recommend starting here and reading my Peloton FAQ and my Peloton HIIT workout round-up as well! I also recommend purchasing some Peloton at home essentials like a seat cushion, exercise fan, and quality sneakers, like this pair from Adidas.
