If you live in the United States and want to visit Cuba creating a travel itinerary doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Keep reading for my simple and fun three day Havana travel itinerary. Feel free to use this as a guide to plan your own trip using the most up to date guidelines for US travel to Cuba.
Day 1:
– Arrive, check into accommodations
– Take a tour of Havana with one of the citizen-run tour bus companies or go to the beach Playas de Este
– Have dinner in Restaurante Paladar in the town square. (Highly Recommended)
Day 2:
– Go on a walking photography tour with a local (can book these experiences through Airbnb)
– Have lunch like a local (ask your host where to go)
– Visit Museums in Old Havana
– Explore the town square
– Have dinner San Cristobal restaurant, made famous by (Obama’s trip there)
Day 3:
– Eat a hearty breakfast
– Spend all day on a guided tour to Vinales Mountains with a local (Link)
– Go to Bueno Vista Social Club for Dinner (if it’s a Sunday!)
