It’s been a while since I’ve felt moved to write a Fall fashion trends article but they use to be a seasonal staple on the Fancy Francy. This Fall, in particular, feels like a nod to very classic Fall fashion trends and a continuation of some trends from this past Spring and Fall.
). Animal Print: Last winter snake and leopard print were everywhere and this Fall we are continuing with the animal theme. Leopard, cheetah, and maybe even zebra will be running wild across the wardrobes of many this Fall.
). Dramatic sleeves: Whether “puff” or “dome” having sleeves with some flair is an easy trend to try for Fall. For Fall try wearing a puff sleeve sweater. It will give you a stylish flair as you stay warm in the colder temperatures.
). Silk: We saw silk skirts become pretty popular in the spring (especially in animal print like this one here ) and long silk skirts will continue for the Fall. Pair them with a graphic tee, leather jacket, and sturdy booties for a “glam meets street” vibe.
). Leather: For Fall.. groundbreaking. Okay so if you get the movie reference then you know I did a little play on words but the idea is the same. Leather is a pretty safe bet any fall but this season we are seeing a resurgence of leather skirts, leather pants, and of course the leather jacket. Try this pair if you want to ease into the trend on a friendly budget.
). Plaid Blazers: So technically this is two trends in one but for the sake of staying at five let’s just go with it. Plaid (another fall favorite) is back in heavy rotation this year as is the blazer. Try them together for a “classic professor look” turn modern.
